Parents & Friends

It is our desire to work with parents & carers to achieve the best and most positive outcomes for all our children and young adults.

Parents and carers have a number of ways to communicate with school:
  • Through 'eSchools' (this website) & the mobile phone APP
  • Each pupil has a home/school book or a planner, in which you can send in messages to school and staff will use to send home messages
  • Call us on the telephone
  • Email us
  • Traditional letters

Please contact the office if you need a password.

It does not matter if you are a current or prospective parent / carer, please feel free to get in touch. Our staff will do their best to help you with any questions or worries.

Notes:
    • the APP is avaliable free through Google Play or the iStore.
    • all details (email, phone, address) can be found on under the 'contact' tab.
    • parental views can be found under 'School Effectiveness' tab
    • paper copies of any document can be requested from school

“Behind the parents stands the school and behind the teachers the home.”

Parent’s note in book

"Parents say that their children are happy at your school, and that they would recommend Slated Row to other parents. They report that their children feel safe and are taught well, and that the school is well led and managed. One parent said that her son going to this school ‘changed the life of my child and the family as a whole’ thanks to the ‘exceptional staff’."
